While Inuyasha eats some Ramen noodles, an ominous voice demands that they hand over the Shikon no Tama. It's soon revealed
that the voice is Shippo a little fox demon. Shippo is after the shards so he become stronger and avenge the death of father.
Elsewhere, a group of soldiers are mercilessly killed by Hiten and Manten, the two Thunder Brothers, who are enjoying the
power they've received from the Shikon shards. Shippo explains that the Thunder Brothers killed his father for his Shikon
shards. Shippo deduces that the Thunder Brothers will kill anyone who has a Shikon shard. Inuyasha vows to beat the brothers,
which Shippo finds funny hearing a half-demon say that. Inuyasha hits Shippo several times on the head. Shippo quickly apologizes
to get his beating to stop. Shippo then places a statue on Inuyasha's hand and distracts Kagome so he can get the Shikon shards.
At a pond, Manten looks at his reflection in the water and longs for more hair. Shippo then runs into Manten, who is wearing
the fur from Shippo's father around his waist. As Shippo tries to Manten, he just falls down causing the Shikon shards fall
from his pocket. As Shippo runs to get them, Manten prepares to fire his Breath Blast. Before he can Kagome appears and fires
an arrow through his snout. Kagome sees the shards in his forehead and aims for them, but instead misses and shoots his two
of his remaining hairs off. Angered, Manten fires a huge breath blast, knocking Kagome out. Manten takes note of Kagome's
beauty and takes her away. Shippo, who regrets abandoning Kagome, returns to Inuyasha and takes his statue of hand. Inuyasha
hits Shippo and takes his Shikon shards back. Shippo explains that Kagome was kidnapped by the Thunder Brothers. Inuyasha,
Shippo and Myoga take off to find Kagome. Kagome wakes up and sees herself in the Thunder Brothers' house. Manten tells
Kagome that the skin of young girls is said to be good for the hair, so he'll be skinning her for that purpose. Hiten then
enters with a woman. Kagome sees that Hiten looks more like a human and might be easier to reason with. That idea is soon
thrown out the window when Hiten kills the woman upon discovering that Manten found shards but let them get away. Hiten and
Manten then start to depart (so they can get the shards). Manten then takes out a cleaver and is about to kill Kagome, to
insure that his hair potion doesn't escape. Kagome exclaims that if they kill her they won't get any Shikon shards. Intrigued
by this, Hiten asks why. Kagome explains that the powerful Inuyasha has killed many demons and almost all the Shikon shards.
She tells them that Inuyasha is also deeply in love with her, so he'd gladly give them Shikon Shards for her. Hiten is willing
to believe her. He warns her that if she's lying she'll end up dead. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and the others are quickly approaching
the Thunder Brother's house. The Thunder Brothers then attack the three. Inuyasha is relieved to see that Kagome is unharmed.
Seeing the relief on his face, Hiten assumes that Inuyasha really is in love with Kagome. Inuyasha is thrown for a loop when
he hears Hiten refer to Kagome as his woman. Inuyasha denies it and Kagome says the he's just being shy. Hiten tells Inuyasha
to prepare fight. Hiten draws out his weapon, Raigekijin, and lunges at Inuyasha. Inuyasha blocks Raigekijin with Tetsusaiga.
